Middle East Data Centres

BSE|3D together with our Architectural and Structural partners were commissioned by Quantum Switch to carry out MEPH designs on multiple data centres across the Middle East. Our services have been engaged for feasibility studies, detailed designs and client witnessing through to level 5 Integrated Systems Testing (IST).

Our project services in the Middle East range from data hall fit outs to full scale whole site projects as well as refurbishments and upgrades of existing data centre facilities. We also offer a review service to clients who would like an external validation of a design through any of the RIBA work stages.

We include ancillary rooms within our design where required including Meet Me Rooms (MMR), Point of Presence rooms (PoP), staff admin/office and welfare facilities, site security rooms, Security Operations Centres (SOC) and Network Operations Centres (NOC). We space plan and produce 3D BIM models for all spaces including and especially plant rooms and services corridors ensuring (i) buildability and (ii) maintainability requirements are met.

We can act as the project liaison with the Uptime Institute. Our experienced and Tier Accredited design team, work with the client, contractors, suppliers, and Tier Assessors to achieve Tier certification at both Design Documentation (TCDD) and Constructed Facility level (TCCF) stage. We have achieved TCDD Tier III Certification on two of our completed projects and TCCF Tier III on one of these projects so far with other projects working towards full certification.
